DISASTER (Draft 1)
Mbah Maridjan is a hero from Merapi Mountain (on Dusun Kinah Rejo, Umbulharjo, Cangkringan, Sleman, and Yogyakarta). First, he was a “kuncen” of Merapi Mountain (keeper of Merapi Mountain) that King hamengkubuwono IX asked him to be a “kuncen”. His behavior was very nice, polite, and friendly, even he became an icon for Kuku Bima Energy, I think it was because his attitude was very good to be exposed. But I just want to know more about him when he was died due to erupted of Merapi Mountain. I like his position of his died that was “sujud”. Actually, he was praying at the time (at 05.23 pm exactly) in the “Masjid” next to his house. Fortunately, there were two people who wanted to pick him up forcedly, but before Mba Maridjan finished his praying, Merapi was erupted and all of them were died because “Wedus Gembel”. It was the different name of volcanic mudflow. In my opinion, Mbah Maridjan was a loyal mountain keeper that kept Merapi Mountain till his died. Thank you, Mbah Maridjan, for your responsibility.
