MY HOMETOWN (Draft 1)
Jakarta is like “kedondong”. First, everyone really wants to step his leg on Jakarta’s ground to bet his fortune for getting a job and earning money. He thinks about getting a job in Jakarta is easier than in his town. So, he can get much money by getting a job in Jakarta. In fact, he will be disappointed because if he has no any skills he will be hard to get a job. Then, he becomes a robber, a thief or anything else that harms somebody else. Next, there are so many good places such as luxury residence, malls, offices, yet village people will be shocked when they have arrived in Jakarta for the first time. They will see not only many good places but also many dirty areas like scavengers who live under a bridge and beside a river and also “in gerobak”. Finally, I just want to share my opinion for everybody. Please, build your own hometown to be a better place that Jakarta, because Jakarta is soft outside and hard inside like “kedondong” fruit.
